Jennifer Burt has over 10 years of experience in tax law. She specializes in general corporate and transactional matters.
Jennifer provides in-depth advice on a wide range of issues relating to complex domestic and international tax matters, including international asset transfers, tax efficient corporate structures, acquisitions and dispositions, global joint ventures, internal restructurings, and cross-border transfer pricing.
Prior to joining Kalbian Haggerty, Jennifer served as Vice President and Senior International Tax counsel in the Corporate Tax Department at Marriott International. During her tenure at Marriott, she analyzed opportunities to reduce Marriott’s effective tax rate through tax planning initiatives, provided U.S. and local country tax planning advice on large multinational transactions and provided tax advice on the company’s international operations.
Jennifer also was a lawyer in the tax practice of Covington & Burling where she was responsible for a variety of federal, state and local taxation matters.
